Who hasn't felt joy when receiving or giving a piece of jewelry?
The word "jewel" comes from the old French word joie, meaning joy or enjoyment. And that's exactly what we feel when wearing a special piece: excitement, satisfaction, and happiness.
Since I was little, jewelry has been a part of my life. My parents often gave me meaningful pieces, and one of the ones I treasure most is a heart-shaped gold ring with a diamond, which I received for my 12th birthday. That ring isn't just a precious object: it's an indelible memory, a connection to my childhood and to those I love.
After having my second baby, I felt the need to explore a new creative path. It was then that I discovered the art of tembleques, the delicate ornaments that complement the pollera, our traditional Panamanian dress. Learning to make them sparked an even greater passion for jewelry, which led me to create necklaces, earrings, and eventually to study goldsmithing to design unique and personalized pieces.
Over time, I decided to pursue professional training, obtaining certifications from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and specializing in fine jewelry, design, and 3D modeling at the Colombian School of Fine Jewelry. This training has allowed me to perfect my technique and offer jewelry with a high level of detail, quality, and beauty.
More than jewelry, a celebration of life
At Batievsky Jewelry Studio, we believe that a piece of jewelry is much more than an accessory: it is a tribute to the beauty, strength, and authenticity of each person. Each design seeks to highlight the essence of the wearer, accompany unforgettable moments, and become a symbol of love, success, and happiness.
We also believe in the power of giving. That's why we allocate 10% of our monthly sales to support those most in need. Because when we create with love, we also share love.

¿Quién no ha sentido felicidad al recibir o regalar una joya?
La palabra “joya” proviene del antiguo francés joie, que significa alegría o disfrute. Y eso es justamente lo que sentimos al llevar una pieza especial: emoción, satisfacción y felicidad.
Desde pequeña, las joyas han formado parte de mi vida. Mis padres solían regalarme piezas significativas, y una de las que más atesoro es un anillo de oro en forma de corazón con un brillante, que recibí cuando cumplí 12 años. Ese anillo no es solo un objeto precioso: es un recuerdo imborrable, una conexión con mi infancia y con quienes amo.
Después de tener a mi segundo bebé, sentí la necesidad de explorar un nuevo camino creativo. Fue entonces cuando descubrí el arte de los tembleques, los delicados adornos que complementan la pollera, nuestro traje típico panameño. Aprender a hacerlos despertó en mí una pasión aún mayor por la joyería, que me llevó a crear collares, aretes y, finalmente, a estudiar orfebrería para diseñar piezas únicas y personalizadas.
Con el tiempo decidí prepararme profesionalmente, obteniendo certificaciones en el Gemological Institute of America (GIA) y especializándome en alta joyería, diseño y modelado en 3D en la Escuela Colombiana de Alta Joyería. Esta formación me ha permitido perfeccionar mi técnica y ofrecer joyas con un alto nivel de detalle, calidad y belleza.
Más que joyas, una celebración de la vida
En Batievsky Jewelry Studio creemos que una joya es mucho más que un accesorio: es un homenaje a la belleza, la fortaleza y la autenticidad de cada persona.
